Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series .. On this episode, we talk with President & CEO of The Talboy Foundation & CDC Veteran Phillip Talboy .. He has worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention since 1983. He has held multiple senior management positions to include deputy director of as well as a Team Leader for the Global Rapid Response Team. He has been deployed for multiple public health emergency responses. While responding to Ebola in West Africa specifically Liberia I witnessed not only the devastation, death and destruction caused by Ebola but the extreme poverty, lack of education, lack of clean drinking water, lack of jobs, treatment of women, and the daily struggle for food. As a result of what he saw, he started The Talboy Foundation as a non-profit 501-c-3 organization to address their vast needs. We cover quite a bit. Enjoy this Interview ..
