Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Italian-born, Kansas City-based Jazz Trumpeter Alberto Racanati .. He opened up about his latest 2022 album Into the Woods, coming to Kansas City and so much more .. Originally from Bari, Southern Italy, Alber comes from a classical background. He started in 2017, when he began experimenting by combining his trumpet with synthesizers. He released his first self titled album, Alber, in 2020, followed by his second album, Journey, released in 2021. Alber's music is a blend of nostalgic synthwave sounds, jazz idioms, and Dilla inspired beats. Dig this story…
