She has Latin and Caribbean roots – and is a native of Los Angeles, raised by parents born and raised in Harlem and was swayed early on by Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Shirley Bassey, Lena Horne, Oscar Brown, Jr., and the very early recordings of Barbra Streisand.She has sung since her childhood and has a lot to give to the world .. and already has ..
