Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with New Orleans-based Jazz Bassist Quinn Sternberg .. He has an interesting new 2020 CD out called Mind Beach and he talks about it .. He’s originally from Bloomington, Indiana and since graduating with a Jazz Studies degree from Indiana University's Jacobs School of Music in 2016, he has been performing music full time on the local scene, on tour, and as a recording artist. He plays both the electric and upright bass, and regularly performs in musical styles including Jazz, Rock, Funk, Hip-Hop, Soul, Latin, Folk and more.
