Veteran Jazz Pianist, Composer & Arranger Tim Ray

Welcome to a new edition of the Neon Jazz interview series with Veteran Jazz Pianist, Composer & Arranger Tim Ray..  He talked about his newest 2020 CD Excursions And Adventures – he was joined by his Berklee School of Music alumi drummer Teri Lynne Carrington or bassist John Patitucci.  This is yet another project with his name on it, but he has spent years playing behind pop artists like Lyle Lovett, Aretha Franklin, Bonnie Raitt and is best known as Tony Bennett’s current pianist and musical director .. Over his long and interesting career, he has been on over 100 recordings and been all over the world .. he’s even performed at the White House, the Kennedy Center and the 1992 Presidential Inauguration - “The Tonight Show” - Late Night with David Letterman,” “The Conan O’Brien Show,” and many other national TV and radio broadcasts.
